Stephen graduated in from Seale Hayne College, Devon with a Diploma in Rural Resource Management in 1990, and went on to graduate from Harper Adams College with a BSc Hons Degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management in 1993. He then qualified as a Member of the RICS and a Fellow of the CAAV, before joining the Berrys Shrewsbury office as a senior practitioner in 2001. Stephen became an Associate Partner in 2007, and is currently the lead consultant for a small team of planning and environment specialists. His key areas of work include planning and development work, forestry, diversification and grants consultancy, environmental consultancy, and general rural business and rural practice advice. In 2007 he won the CLA Rural Buildings Award Scheme and he is a lecturer for the Shropshire Freshstart Academy farm business training scheme. In addition he is on the RICS RECAP committee providing training for fellow professionals, and is the Secretary of his local village residents association. Stephen became a Berrys partner in October 2011.
