The challenges facing rural business include the future direction and effect of EU policy, a greater compliance obligation, investment into the wider rural economy and the balance of strong commodities, a rise in energy costs and pressure within the livestock sector.
The marketplace has seen an increase in non traditional farming land owners providing not only external finance into the rural economy but also a demand for business management services.
