Berrys jumping for joy at sponsorship success

More than 70 world class riders competed in the Charles Stanley British Master International Show Jumping event held at South View Equestrian Centre in Cheshire earlier this month.

The event which ran from July 1-3 was one of three qualifiers for the London 2012 Olympic Games putting it amongst the elite qualification competitions alongside Hickstead’s Royal International Horse Show’s Meydan FEI Nations Cup and the King George V Gold Cup.

“The competition was absolutely amazing,” said Fran Buckley of Berrys, one of the many sponsors of the event.

With in excess of £100,000 prize-money up for grabs and the chance to be a part of history in the 2012 Olympics, top name competitors attended from across the globe.

Organisers of the event said competitors thought it was fantastic with several describing it as one of the best show they have attended.

The event helped to reinforce Cheshire’s position on the equestrian map and was a huge boost for tourism too for the Wettenhall area.

Berrys offers a range of specialist services for the equestrian sector, including property sales, purchases and letting, business management, planning and project management.

Earlier in the summer the firm supported Berriewood Horse Trials in Shropshire, another successful equestrian event.
