Two Cheshire businesses are asking people to put on their thinking caps to help a local charity reach its fund raising target.
Chartered surveyors Berrys and mosshaselhurst Solicitors have organised a charity quiz night with buffet to benefit The Joshua Tree which helps families in need.
“The Joshua Tree is a Cheshire based charity which aims to provide a holiday house for families who have a child with a life threatening illness. In order to fulfil this project they must raise at least another £500,000,” explains Graham Bowcock, partner of Berrys at Northwich.
“To try to help them reach this target we have joined forces with mosshaselhurst Solicitors to put on a quiz and buffet and we are hoping as many teams as possible will enter.”
The charity quiz is being held on Thursday, November 17 at Cresta Court Hotel, Church Street, Altrincham and teams of four can enter at a cost of £25, to include a buffet.
The event starts at 6:30pm with the quiz beginning at 7pm and food served around 8pm.
For further details and to enter a team call 01606 818963 or send your cheque (payable to The Joshua Tree) to Berrys at 1 Brunel Court, Rudheath Way, Northwich, Cheshire, CW9 7LP before November 7.
This is a rescheduled event postponed from August.
