Berrys continues to expand with the appointment of a new senior practitioner based at its Towcester office in Northamptonshire.
Marcus Blake joined Berrys in October 2011 to further enhance the firm’s rural agency and professional practice in the south Northamptonshire/north Buckinghamshire area, whilst also supporting the office’s established valuation department.
Marcus is a Member and a Registered Valuer of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers.
He was brought up in the Towcester area and his background includes a broad spectrum of professional work, valuation and estate management advice. He is able to advise on the sale and purchase of rural and development property, whether by private sale or auction.
Working with land owners and developers, Marcus has practical experience on a diverse range of planning and development projects, providing advice on small and medium scale schemes, plus Option and Promotion Agreements.
Since 2010, Marcus has independently advised affected property owners on all aspects of the proposed High Speed 2 (HS2) rail link, and acted as an Independent Valuer for HS2.
